oh, our mom sez that first snap is the furry cutest she has seen in a long time!! please tell lady two-legs that our mom also has frequent bouts of that same disease: c.o.l. (cat on lap), which prevents her from doing a great many things! an' dad suffers from a related syndrome: h.o.c. (heap o'cats), which renders him almost immobile, an' makes him break into a sweat. innit wunnerful how our two-legs are willin' to suffer fur us? of course, it's only our due!
Maximus, you look so happy on Carol's lap=great pictures!!...Please stop by our blog tomorrow for an invitation to a party=we really want you to be there, Maximus...and please bring Bumbles too!!...Thanks for adding our link to your page!...xoxo...Calle, Halle, Sukki
There is a squirt bottle of water on my computer desk, if one of my cats is bothering me when I don't want them to bother me it only takes one shot to it take off like a rocket.
The universe revolves around me, not my cats, they are just here to mooch off of me. :-)
My girls occasionally allow me the delusion that I have some control, but I know that they "allow" me to pay the mortgage and buy their prescription food (dry & gooshy), though they dislike that they have to let me leave the house to do so.
You are a handsome, blissful kitty in the first pic.
Maximus what an inspiration you are - when our mom wants to get up we let her - but we think you have it right - we are going to follow your example and stay on her til we are ready! Thanks for the idea!
Maximus, you have trained your Mum very well. Bladder control is one of the most important things that humans need to learn and keep practicing. Well done Maximus.
You must begin some intensive training with your humans, Maximus. They need to learn that when you occupy a lap, they do NOT get up...for ANYTHING! I have my Mom perfectly trained in this regard.
Its the best place to sit .....

ReplyDeleteYou are quite the lap kitty and quite smart to make Lady Two Legs scratch your chin and wait to pee. We do the same thing with our Two Legs.
